Waterjet when used should pay attention to check

Waterjet when used should pay attention to check, to avoid malfunction.

Cutting head

Regularly check cutting head for wear or signs of damage, such as sand tube accidentally contact fixture will damage the nozzle nut and the internal parts of the mixing tube to maintain alignment.

Gem nozzle

Observe the flow of the gem nozzle, open the water flow in the low pressure state. Water flow should be symmetrical, its width depends on the type of nozzle; the flow of the ruby and sapphire nozzle is slightly wider, and the flow of the diamond nozzle is narrower and more coherent. If the water flow began to widen, the nozzle is indicated for damage and should be replaced immediately. Damage to the nozzle (or misalignment of the pipe) will cause internal damage to the cutting head.

Machine longitudinal and transverse beam

Use the computer manual function to move the longitudinal and transverse beams, to confirm the longitudinal and the transverse beams no abnormal noise.

Cutter head sand supply system

Regular inspection and replacement of consumable parts of the delivery system, such as pipes and fittings, to ensure that any parts of sand supply system below the bottom of the mini hopper are not exposed to the air. When this check, from the mini hopper bottom joint disconnect the sand delivery pipeline, manually open the jet and the thumb attached to the end of the sand delivery pipeline, you will feel adequate (but not excessive) vacuum exists, which may make thumb tip dented. The vacuum insufficient may indicate that the cutting head inlet is blocked, or sand delivery pipeline cracks, and must be solved in order to give full play to the efficiency of the system.

Check the system and keep it in top working condition, make waterjet cutting operations more efficient, and extend the life of its components.
